Transport services from the centre of Katowice to the area of accompanying events is also provided by the bus line No. 910, which runs every 15 minutes. Additionally, bus lines No. 1, 672, 674 and 672N will be providing additional public transport options within the above-mentioned area.

Due to the organization of the Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice festival, from 15.06 to 25.06.2019 parking on the parking lots located by NOSPR and Muzeum Śląskie will be more difficult.

Starting from 15.06 until 25.06.2019 PARKING A within the area of the Culture Zone will be unavailable for people from outside the Festival’s production and organization team.

Starting from 20.06 until 23.06.2019 at noon PARKING C within the area of the Culture Zone will be unavailable for people from outside the Festival’s production and organization team.


For safety reasons, the above-mentioned area will be fenced and closed for unauthorized persons.

On June 20-22, 2019, the Culture Zone in Katowice will host the 14th edition of the Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice festival. On June 21-22, there will be outdoor concerts taking place as part of the Festival.
Organization of an event as prestigious as the Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice festival entails certain inconveniences, which will be bothersome especially for people living in close proximity to the Culture Zone. Due to the necessity of securing the event location, some of the streets and parking lots within the urban space will be off-limits.

T. DOBROWOLSKIEGO STREET
– closed in both directions between W. Roździeńskiego Avenue and Nadgórników Street from 6 am on 21.06.2019 until 8 pm on 23.06.2019.

GÓRECKIEGO STREET
– closed in both directions from the intersection with T. Dobrowolskiego Street to the intersection with Olimpijska Street from 6 am on 21.06.2019 until 8 pm on 23.06.2019

OLIMPIJSKA STREET
- closed from W. Roździeńskiego Avenue to H.M. Góreckiego Street from 2 pm on 21.06.2019 to 8 am on 22.06.2019, and from 2 pm on 30.06.2018 to 9 am on 23.06.2019.
