Electronic warm-up before the festival in the very center of the city! Thanks to T-Mobile Electronic Beats, a partner of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice, a special stage will be set up in the arcades of the so-called Dezember Palast. On Thursday, June 20th, at 4 pm, the top of the Polish club scene will play there. The atmospheric sets will resound in the arcades of the Upper Silesian Cultural Center building on Plac Sejmu Śląskiego in Katowice. Admission will be free for all who wish to attend. At the same time, the sale of passes and tickets for the festival is underway at festiwalnowamuzyka.pl.
The 19th edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice – one of the most important events on the festival map of Poland – will begin on June 20th. The star of the Opening Concert will be Robert Henke with his project, CBM 8032 AV. Attendees will be treated to an expedition into the abstract world of graphics and sounds of Commodore computers. However, before the audience sits in the auditorium of Katowice Miasto Ogrodów to listen to the Opening Concert of the festival, there will be one more special event.
With the help of T-Mobile Electronic Beats, Polish DJs – Olivia, Kovvalsky and Chino – will play in the arcades of the so-called Dezember Palast. The iconic space will be specially arranged exclusively for the occasion and will become a meeting place for fresh electronic sounds. Built in the late 1970s, the Dezember Palast building was for years the home of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR). It is now home to the Katowice Miasto Ogrodów im. Krystyny Bochenek. It is the cultural center of Katowice and the perfect location for a festival warm-up with T-Mobile Electronic Beats. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. Gourmets of sound are sure to be satisfied, as there will be an excellent sound system adapted to local conditions. There will also be a wide range of food and drink. The event is open to the residents of Katowice, and participation will be free. At the same time, DJ sets will make the process of exchanging 3-day passes for wristbands more pleasant for festival goers.
T-Mobile Electronic Beats during Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice 2024 will present a variety of phenomena from the realms of dance electronica and club music. During the festival weekend, the T-Mobile Electronic Beats Stage will be set up in the Strefa Kultury, where we will hear the stars of the world’s clubs. It is the stage that will play the longest during Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice. The stage’s presence is part of a campaign by Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile Poland under the slogan “The Summer to Rebember,” in which the brand encourages young people across Europe to participate in numerous music events and create their own precious memories that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. T-Mobile’s mission is to connect users to their entire world, so “The Summer to Remember” campaign includes a plethora of events to #REBEMBER experience a variety of music genres. Among them are festivals such as Melt (Germany), Rolling Loud Europe (Austria) and Lollapalooza (Germany).
