Five friends and experienced musicians with considerable artistic and stage achievements. These are musicians who have existed and are actively working on the Polish music scene for years, co-creating such legendary bands as Mitch & Mitch, Starzy Singers, Something Like Elvis, Contemporary Noise Quintet, ||ALA|MEDA||, T’ien Lai, Xenony, Hokei, and Opla over the last 30 years.
The luminaries of the Polish independent scene returned in 2024 with a new album “Picaros”, which contains the best of rhythmic and dance guitar music with strong and expressive vocals, embellished with a rich palette of sample and synthesizer sounds. The musicians, similarly to their debut album “Balance of Decay”, draw heavily on various musical traditions from all over the world, not afraid of surprising and unconventional combinations and aesthetic connections, creating a one-of-a-kind explosive mix. The band willingly uses a multitude of impulses to build musical structures with one basic functionality – giving joy to those who play and those who listen. Javva performs in the following line-up: Macio Moretti – drums, Bartek Kapsa – drums, Piotr Bukowski – guitar, Łukasz Jędrzejczak – vocals, electronics, Mikita Arlou – bass guitar, vocals.
