Singer and rapper born in Lisbon but living in Manchester since her early years. Her real name is Diana De Brito, and her pseudonym comes from the first letters of her first and last name. As IAMDDB, she combines a variety of genres under the self-proclaimed banner of ‘Urban Jazz’. She gained a foothold on the scene with her underground hit ‘Shade’, and was confirmed by her third place finish in the BBC Sound of 2018 competition. Her distinctive vocals combine multi-voiced harmonies, choruses and rap to create a collage enhanced by shimmering or hazy instrumentals. Her debut project entitled ‘Waeveybby, Vol. 1’ was released in 2016, and to date she has released 5 studio albums. IAMDDB has collaborated with artists such as Diplo and The Mouse Outfit, among others.
