He has been compared to artists such as Nils Frahm and Peter Broderick. Like them, he combines traditional acoustic sounds with electronics. Fascinated with sound from an early age, he studied sound engineering in his hometown of Leicester. From the beginning of his career he developed an experimentation with a wide range of electronic sounds. After repeatedly performing at prestigious venues such as the Tate and creating a special audiovisual show for the Boiler Room, Rival Consoles developed his current A/V liveact. His latest release is the December 2021 album ‘Overflow’, which was created as the soundtrack to a contemporary dance performance of the same name, directed by renowned choreographer Alexander Whitley.
