Daria has lived in Silesia since she was born. She was supposed to become a professional volleyball player, but after 11 years of training when things didn’t go well, she gave up and became a historian. She doesn’t like big cities and crowds. If she didn’t sing, she would write advertising texts or science-fiction novels. She is trusting, suffers from indecision, and feels safest in sadness.
In 2023 she released her debut album, “Tu była” – its hallmarks are strong and direct lyrics, on which Daria worked with Agata Trafalska (Kortez, Kaśka Sochacka), and sonic diversity, which she owes to the presence of such musical figures as: Olek Swierkot (Kortez, Kaśka Sochacka), Pawel Krawczyk (Hey), Bartek Tycinski (Mitch&Mitch) and Hubert Zemler, Pat Stawinski, Kuba Staruszkiewicz and Kamil Pater (Natalia Przybysz), Tomek Kasiukiewicz (Artur Rojek, Mela Koteluk) as well as representatives of the younger generation like Kuba Dabrowski and Zenia Shadziul.
