Berlin-based producer and DJ for whom techno is the starting point for far-reaching explorations. Her work is as much about dancefloor vibes as it is about sonic experimentation. Dasha Rush hails from Russia, where she began her DJ career in the 1990s. After moving to Paris, she also took up music production, releasing solo material and also composing soundtracks for theatre productions. Dasha Rush combines emotionally driven tracks with multi-layered, dense techno, visual explorations and performance art. She is inspired by her curiosity about astrophysics, her fascination with extreme natural phenomena, or the deepest desires of the human psyche. She has performed at the most important festivals in the world, such as Mutek in Monreal, Resonanz in Tokyo and Atonal and CTM in Berlin. She regularly performs as a DJ in iconic spaces such as Berghain, Tresor, Fabric, De School and many more. Together with Lars Hemmering, she co-founded the project LADA, as well as the group Attention Deficit Disorder. Since 2005 he has run his own experimental label called Fullpanda, as well as the sub-label Hunger To Create.
