Two friends from Tel Aviv and their ‘machines, mixes and unconditional passion for music’. Red Axes glue together seemingly incompatible threads, delighting the world with a new wave of hypnotic beats combining acid house, techno, new wave, ethno, industrial, post-punk and EBM. Their story began in the post-punk band Red Cotton, which over time metamorphosed into a DJ/producer duo. Very prolific, they have released dozens of choice releases, including four original albums. Their latest album, One More City, released in autumn 2023, is a return to their roots of ‘live’ instruments and collaborative playing. The album features guest appearances from a plethora of guest vocalists such as Autarkic, Warmduscher and Cole Alexander of the Black Lips.
