The exceptional abundance of musical themes in the Katowice festival programme is already an unwritten tradition of the event. For these three exceptional days, expect the unexpected.

The fourth announcement of the programme of the 19th edition of the festival opens with Kelly Moran. She is a composer and producer from New York whose intricate, experimental works go beyond the traditional piano school. Her album ‘Ultraviolet’ combines strands from jazz and dream pop to neo-classical and black metal.

The Austrian trip hop pioneers, the duo Kruder & Dorfmeister, are also masters of style fusion. The two artists, known for their series of remixes and side projects such as Tosca and Peace Orchestra, set the highest standard for the smoky sound of the 1990s. During the festival, they will perform a live audiovisual show based on material from their classic release, ‘The K&D Sessions’.

Deep hypnotic techno at its best will be delivered by Luigi Tozzi. He is a true master of hypnotic, deep playing. Hailing from Rome, the producer will play in a live format, accompanied by Feral. As always, there will also be singing women at the festival. Nabihah Iqbal is a young star of the Ninja Tune label. His exciting work combines the sounds of dream pop, post punk and electronic music.

In June, we will also hear outstanding DJs. Israeli duo Red Axes have enthralled the world with their hypnotic music combining acid house, techno, post punk and industrial, Their latest album, ‘One More City’, released in autumn 2023, is a return to their roots of ‘live’ instruments and collaborative playing. The announcement closes with Robag Wruhme – he is one of our most frequent guests and Anyone who has played to his sets knows exactly what he is talking about. We have every one of his sets memorised, as he heats up the party atmosphere like no one else!

This is still not the end of the announcements – more artists will soon join the programme of the 19th edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice. Between 20 and 23 June 2024, the Culture Zone in Katowice will once again pulsate with music and attract thousands of guests. Unique emotions, memorable concerts, exceptional artists and a unique location – this is the shortest recipe for the Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice festival. It is worth visiting again.
