A place where post-industrial stopped being an aesthetic and became an address.
You get off the train, walk 15 minutes, and you're at the festival. On the way: modernism, brutalism, Art Nouveau, a mine shaft, and Spodek. This is the location of TNMK — the Culture Zone in Katowice, in the very heart of the 2-million-strong Metropolis GZM.

Culture Zone
Four buildings, one gravitational field. NOSPR with acoustics that engineers from all over the world come to measure. The International Congress Centre with a roof that looks as if someone had cut the building with a knife. The Silesian Museum buried in the former Katowice coal mine — underground exhibitions, the "Warszawa" hoisting shaft as the central point.
-
Through the green roof
Psst — if you look closely, the green roof of the ICC looks like a trace left by a skidding UFO. Like the Spodek (Saucer).
This is where we set up the festival. Between concrete and grass, between modernism and post-industry. Short distances, a stage design that cannot be built — because it's already there.

Katowice
A city that turned coal into culture and didn't make a marketing slogan out of it — it just did it. UNESCO City of Music. The Culture Zone, where the festival takes place, was established on the site of the liquidated Katowice mine.
Metropolis GZM
2.3 million people, 41 municipalities, one organism. The Metropolis GZM (Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolia) is the largest polycentric agglomeration in Poland — Katowice, Gliwice, Zabrze, Bytom, Sosnowiec, Tychy, Chorzów. City boundaries blur on the tram.

◼ By Bike / Scooter
By Bike - Metrorower. The entire Culture Zone is well-connected by bike paths, so you can conveniently reach the festival on two wheels. Near NOSPR, MCK, Silesian Museum, and Spodek, you will find Metrorower stations - the GZM city bike system operated by Nextbike, the event partner. We have prepared a special code for festival participants for free Metrorower rides during Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice. Just use the Metrorower / Nextbike app, enter the code [CODE], and get to the concert without traffic jams, without looking for parking, and in the festival rhythm of the city.
By Scooter. Electric scooter operators also operate in the vicinity of the Culture Zone, including Bolt, Lime, and Tier. Remember to park in designated areas and in a way that does not block sidewalks, passages, and access to festival facilities.
◼ From Accommodation
Most hotels in the city center are a maximum 20-minute walk. Airbnb and hostels in Nikiszowiec, Załęże, Dąb — 15-25 min by tram. After the concert, night trams and buses run until ~3:00 AM, then Bolt / Uber / Free Now.
