Powerful women at Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival! Róisín Murphy & 5 other female artists joining the line-up!

Amazing women expand the program of our festival! Róisín Murphy is a phenomenal vocalist, combining pop sensibility with electronic experiments and she’s headlining the 19th edition of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice 2024 in June. Apart from her, we will also hear great personalities of Polish alternative music and intriguing DJs, who enchant with psychedelic and hypnotic rhythms. Róisín Murphy is a global superstar, well known for both her solo achievements, as well as her immortal hits recorded with the band Moloko (“Sing It Back,” “Time Is Now”). The charismatic diva has been inspiring fans with her unmistakable style for more than 20 years. So far, she has recorded 6 solo albums and singles such as “Overpowered,” “Simulation” and “Let Me Know,” among others, have reached hit status. Róisín Murphy is constantly collaborating with leading club and electronic music producers. Her latest album “Hit Parade” (2023) was produced entirely by DJ Koze.

With her stage confidence, indefatigable energy and excellent contact with the audience, her live performances stay in the memory for a long time – and that’s exactly what expect from Róisín Murphy’s concert at Tauron Nowa Muzyka Katowice!

Another announcement of the festival’s lineup is complemented by equally great artists from Poland and around the world. Nosowska is a winner of the Paszport Polityki award, 27 statuettes of the “Fryderyki” award , and many of her albums have gained gold status. Since the artist said goodbye to her mother band Hey, she has been leading a successful solo career. Nosowska’s ambitious pop, always performed with great charisma, her excellent vocals and original lyrics will resonate perfectly on the festival’s main stage. Also performing in June will be Daria ze Śląska, a talented singer who grew up in Katowice. The artist focuses on creating sophisticated, melancholic ballads. In addition to her excellent voice, Daria’s songs captivate with strong and direct lyrics.

Between June 20 and 24, 2024, the Culture Zone will once again pulsate with music and attract thousands of visitors.
